Auto shut down software?

Hi..

I am on MTNL Night Unltd plan.

Is there any s'ware by which i can get it to shutdown my PC at say 7-45 am so that i am not billed for the whole nights d/l just coz i cross the 8 am deadline post which everything is charged including the night time d/l (this is a major fault with MTNL tri band)

for torrents.. u can use µTorrent.. it has a scheduler..

go to command prompt and enter

shutdown -s -t xxx

where xxx = no. of seconds after which the pc shutsdown. To abort enter

shutdown -a

well even shutting down the comp wont help

best would be in the router homepage - go to advanced - PPP - there set your router to disconnect after xx minutes.. (its the second option) .. i tell my router to DC after 3 min of idleness..

like if i shut down at 7:53 am. my router would disconnect itself from triband server at 7:56am

and i use a small 600kb utility to shut down my comp ..

AMP Winoff. Allows you to hang up your modem, hibernate, shutdown etc.
ANd its free.

Hey chic magent, how do I restart my router automatically? and if i tell my router to d/c after 3 min of idleness, does that mean it will d/c if nothings happening in bitcomet? ( due to no seeds/peers etc).
And how does it connect again? Do I need to do it manually?
