I am searching for a camera within budget 9k.

Here in techenclave many users told that the LUMIX Lz-10 is good well for the money....

Is it possible to find that model anywhere in chennai. Pls help.....

OR Suggest any other good models within my budget....

Almost all the Ebay LZ10 sellers are from Chennai :)
Buy it through Ebay, apply 10% dicount coupon or Diwali gift coupons and get an excellent deal
It comes with 3 years company warranty with bill
Not worth buying directly from showrooms, its overpriced or not available

You have to register with a correct details/adress/phone number and search

You need to have credit card or bank account, ensure payment mode is Paisapay

Check Feedbacks of seller before u buy, buy from sellers having more than 100-200 feedbacks atleast and 99% positive

Its safe, as they have very good buyer protection policy

Your money wont go to seller till you receive the product and confirm receipt

Just ensure when u get the courier, open it in front of him, chek the contents and then signoff the consignment

And how is LZ10, i read that it have manual operation, is easy to understand & operate? how is the performance i.e., Quality of pictures, Video & Battery life....... :huh:

All depends on Seller, some dispatch immediately, some take their own time ( they have about 7 days max to dispatch)

I also bought it very recently, very less hands-on to comment on it
read reviews over the net and search for LZ10 threads in this section, its highly recommended by many at TE, hence i bought it

it has no Li-Ion battery, so u need to use AA alkaline or Ni-Mh rechargeables
which is actually a good thing, easy to replace and much cheaper than replacing Li-Ion pack
