I would definitely wait for a release to give a verdict. Whenever Cameron starts on a movie there are a million critics who tell us how wrong he is.. how badly he is doing things.. (Right from the aliens saga where even his own unit members from the original Ridley Scott version were revolting against him).. But ultimately he has proven to be a better visionary than his critics. His own unit members had to wait until the release of his movies to see what his vision looked like on the big screen. This, to my mind, is the hallmark of a great director. Never mind the hype, or the advance publicity, it will only show in the final screening.. and that is what matters I think.
