bad image quality and FPS in crysis demo..

the rocks , boulders.... are bad to look at.. and even the trees , background is not so good... there is considerable texture pop in.. with FPS drops.
i get 20 - 25 fps during fights 25- 40 fps normal .. @ HIGH settings ... its not playable during fights and explosions.. my hd 4850 with AMD phenom II x2 550 be ... should be Good enough right??
fellow hd 4850 owners please tell me ur experiences with the card :):)

Solution : turn on the anisotropic filtering to the max, & if tats not working change to plan B !

Plan B :P : here's wat u do in plan B reinstall the ATi driver to lastest one but this time remember to install it in VGA mode !

& if tat aint doing the job, leme knw .

i have latest 9.12 drivers.. how to install in vga mode??
 
To play at 1440x900 with everything set to High you need at least a 4870/4980. Otherwise you won't get very playable FPS.

thats not true.. hd 4850 gives playable frame rates at high.. i saw in youtube videos and reviews.. at very high it gives 25 and lower fps..
