Bad warranty support by compaq...help

My dad has given his compaq lappy for warranty repair twice.
The screen goes blank randomly. I guess either the hinge is broke or mobo is dying.
Both times they took the lappy for 3-4 weeks and gave it back, no idea if anything was fixed but the problem came back after a few days both times.
Can anyone suggest whom I can mail at compaq/HP regarding their shitty service and furthur action? (Preferably east india division)
 
i know 2 such laptops with the SAME issue , the laptops would just go blank in middle of something and nothing would work , the ONLY way to get the display back is , SHUT the lid...let the laptop hibernate , open the lid and start it up....and its ALIVE again until next time.....uber frustrating for sure !
 
Nukey, 2 of my friends had some Compaq laptop but the same models. Forgot the model no. but has the Turion X2 proccy and the nV6150 gfx. The 2 laptops surprisingly got conked on the same day but different problems. One was a bad hard drive and the other was a bad mainboard.

But both of them extended their warranty (for as low as 7.5k!) and got the stuff replaced which was actually worth more than the value of the extended warranty.

U could try doing that. It is 7.5k IIRC.
