And yes, I'm considering Reliance 300kbps UL but need to know a few details:

1. It says 150 free calls. It means 150 pulses or 150 minutes ?
2. Call charge is Rs. 1.1 means 1.1 for 3 min landy and 1 min all else right ?

1. Its 150 Rs. which is equivalent to pulses.
2. Local calls is 3 min pulse. Rest 1 min pulse

My application was rejected by reliance as their pesky agency was not ready to give me connection. They say that new wires need to be laid out, which is about 100 meters or so.

Any idea about BSNL's service in wired n EVDO here in banglore in HSR layout area ? Will it be worth the investment ? I'm shifting to banglore frm delhi in a week and hence need to decide on the new connection.
Airtel is available but they are not cheap where as i download a decent amount and their high speed plans are not very affordable.

Still interested in getting another ISP instead of B$NL. Can someone give me updates as to which ISP I can opt for now ?

Reliance seems to be an interesting choice since it has the 300kbps UL plan @ 500pm with Free Phone and 50 free calls per month with call @ 50ps/1min. But I'm still hoping to find something faster around the same price or lower. Also, dad thinks having to pay for a phone which won't be used is a dumb idea unless that money included I find savings.

I'm also planning to take 'Surf Addiction 300' plan which comes without landline and 300kbps and 450/Month...
