The BRAINWAVZ M2 are perfect for you but it seems their prices have been hiked to ~4600/- --> http://www.techencla...rs-budget-3-4k/ [refer post #5] and --> http://www.pristinen...index&cPath=108.

If you can extend your budget, even the BRAINWAVZ M3 would suit you, albeit a more balanced sound at the expense of the bass prowess of the M2.

You can also look at the BRAINWAVZ Pro-Alfa ~1600/-.

If not an issue try the PL 21 ~750/- +, they are well off in the bass department and do not suffer lack of detail in treble and highs.

Hope this helps, Cheers!!

I own M2s and i wont suggest you them if ur looking for bassy iem's (my definition of bassy iems's is high bass, though it suppress a bit mids and highs)... But overall its really too good...

I have used NE7M which people say is a bassy IEM but I didn't though. How good is the Pro Alpha compared to M1 ?

BRAINWAVZ Pro-Alfa has a much better bass line as compared to the M1, ask #Gannu for more inputs on the same, as I have never heard the Pro-Alfa's and can only speculate on this.

What kind of bass are you looking at?

Heavy, thumpy bass OR bass that has detailing in it, because the M1 although not very bassy has a very detailed bass.

Hope this helps, Cheers!!

The Pro Alpha does have some tight bass but the perception may differ from person to person depending on the seal at the ear canal. With the right ear plugs it makes a lot of difference. I am enjoying my pair which I had received a week back. The sound signature is however quite different from what the entry level IEMs offer. I found a lot of difference coming from the JVC Marshmallow.

If you found the bass of NE7M to be less , w.r.t you can say that Brainvwavz M3 , Brainwavz M1 doesnt have bass

. Probably you had fit issues with the NE7M they are pretty bass heavy if u ask me.

The Pro-Alfa is the fun-loving cousin of the M1. Both are very similar with quite little separating them. The M1 is more detailed with a tighter bass when compared to the Pro-Alfa. You can say its more analytical/neutral as compared to the more enjoyable signature of the Pro-Alfa. The bass on the Pro-Alfa is definitely boomier while the detailing trails the M1. I for one the enjoy the lively sound signature of the Pro-Alfa but do find it lacking when listening to instrumentals/classicals.

get a EP630 if you want just bass and vfm performance..nothing else...

M2 is way overpriced too even consider (also last I heard it was 3400 after the hike)..for 4600...one can look into Re-zero category...

Every above mentioned iem has better bass than EP630,op will have hard time getting iem if he wants better bass than NE7M,PL21 or Brainwavz M2 are the good choices close to budget.

Has M2 been discontinued? It is no longer listed on mp4nation.

Its a brilliant IEM though for a budget of 2.5k, which was the price while it was listed for preorder. (I got it for 250/500 during an offer some months ago

lynxindia is a cheat website. They do not have the listed item and when you contact them the great amarbeer asks you to purchase some other stupid product.

How much does this ep630 cost ?

If you going for something in the range of the EP 630, please spend a little more and get the SoundMAGIC PL 21, it has a much better bass [with good detailing], also trebles are decent but the vocals always sounded muffled to me vs. my PL 30.

Hope this helps, Cheers!!
