Laptops Battery Advice needed

Guys I will be on travel for next one month and I am not taking my lappie with me. So if I just turn it off for one full month, will there be any bad effects ? or Shall I have someone to keep it charging for every 2-3 days ? I have Dell XPS L501x lappie [Lithium battery I guess]

OT : same question with iPhone 4.

I guess removing the battery will do the job. Same case with your iphone, just remove the battery and store it in a cool place

Charge it completely and then remove it. Leaving battery with low charge can detiorate its performance

^ when I purchased my lappy I just went through a number of articles on how to use your laptop battery wisely etc.. one point I remember was never leave a Lithium based battery with low charge for a long time.

can't be done same with bloody iPhone :-/

No need to store in refrigerator. Simply wrap it in a plastic and keep either in your laptop bag or drawer. Same for iphone.

Guys iPhone battery is non removable. So I just full recharge, turn it off and keep it ?
