Laptops Battery life 9200gm vs gm45

In a similarly configured laptop does a 9200gm offer equivalent battery life as gm45?

The battery life of a laptop having 9200M may be slightly lesser than one having Intel 4500M. The nVidia 9200M is not exactly discrete graphics. It uses the RAM memory for storing info(i.e it does not have dedicated memory. It shares from the RAM.)

But since it has a bit more processing power than Intel 4500M, it will consume a bit more energy.
