Hello can any body guide me to a Mod in which Desktop is run on Laptop batteries.

Mobo is Intel D945GCLF2 ATOM 330.
2 gb ram
80gb laptop hdd

cab any body suggest how to make it portable by using batteries (rechargebles)
the power consumption is 60w max or 90.

Yes, There are PSU's Avilable ranging from 120 Watts Output reffered as PICO psu's, But avilability in India Is a Issue, You may instead use a Dc to Dc Converter used for Car PC's, but the setup could be expensive as you will have to buy a battery, charger to charge the same and a converter.

you may go for alternate configuration if you are looking for power saving and are ready to sacrifice portability.

This might be able to answer your question.

Mini-ITX on Battery power? - Head-Fi: Covering Headphones, Earphones and Portable Audio

Granted, an Atom ITX board might draw less power, but it is not designed for notebook batteries. Perhaps you should be looking for Pico-ITX instead.

Anyway if portability is what you're after, then you might just as well get a notebook, seeing how cheap these things go for these days.

BTW, a little English lesson...

If it's only one, you say battery.

If there are many, you say batteries.

How to use apostrophe, see this.
