Dodging is extremely easy in this game. It's been almost a year now since I completed this game, so my memory is a bit hazy. Effective dodging/blocking allows you to activate 'Witch Time'. Time your block properly then use this mode to slow the time down and you can unleash massive combos. You're lucky this game is fluid in it's move sets and has combo cancellations. So you can switch your combos on the fly. Pick the upgrades wisely. Just view the upgrade move and check if it's worth purchasing. Be sure to grab as many Halo's as you can. Don't focus much on weapon upgrades.

On Chapter 6 i have to change to pussy difficulty since it was too much for me to keep dying , but really enjoying the game.

I only have around 30000 Halos i see many people with lacs of Halo's is there some trick to accumulate them ?

Try this guide: Bayonetta Tip: How to Get Halos, Fast

Else you'll just have to keep getting better at combos and unleash climax moves more often. It uses the same system of gathering the orbs as in DMC, minus the style meter.

Almost done with the game , on Chapter 15 will finish it tonight.

Completed the game last night ending was awesome especially Epilogue.

Epilogue in the game can bring down GOW 3 to knees when it comes to sense of scale , only cronos comes close to it when it comes to sense of scale.
Couple of things regarding the game

1.Battle controls were very fluid and responsive which actually helped to start off the combos easily.
2.Game follows a very linear path fight some angels , have a boss fight and watch a cutscene again and process goes into a loop.I know many games suffer from this but it was way too much in the game.
3.Biggest gameplay element of the game was Witch time and if you remove it the game feels shallow.
4.Story was surprisingly good.

Overall had a very good time playing the game

At chapter 15 now.
man what the hell is this game? FPS? racing? arcade? hack-n-slash? hell, its all of if them. :D Awesome!

Completed the game.Just too awesome.Besides she is a good dancer too.

PS3 version had its fair of issues there is patch for it which allows to install the whole game on HDD which makes lot smoother but then too 360 is far superior too PS3 version
