Well you have used it on firefox. And for forum lovers its just something you can't live without. Infact many people who are on forums use firefox for that reason alone.

Now use the same using opera. Killer plugin with superb stability and GUI.

It is very handy when you visit/post alot on forums,i have been using the Fx extension since it came out its very handy indeed.

Maxthon BB-code plugin

Description:
BBcodes buttons, custom codes(tags) list, snippets list (hi, Zoni), edit all lists on-the-fly (add, delete items), undo/redo function, recover last textarea value function, quick jump to upload site, quick jump to your smilies, smilies list options (add, delete), textarea style support, windows position and size options etc...

Plugin activation:
- If textarea has focus - click on plugin button;
- If not - click on plugin button, move focus to the textarea;
- I recommend you to enable autostart plugin option;
- You may enable 'Hold ALT...' option to add more control;

Use this plugin on boards with poor BBCodes Interface... or here (quick reply) or anywhere you like...

Sorry... Can anyone help me?

I'm having troubles installing this plugin.
I use the link to directly install with Opera but when I use the mouse right-button in forum forms nothing shows up referring this bbcode extension...

What is this "plugin button" Indyan referred?
Does the plugin work with Opera 8.0.2?

The menu format was changed in opera v8.
Here is how to go about doing it.

Adding VBCode/BBCode Helper
Find the [Edit Widget Popup Menu] section(make one if not present)

Then add the following lines

Include, Internal Personal Information
Include, Internal Note List
Submenu, "vB Code", vBcode Menu

Item, 50864 = Undo
Item, 68116 = Redo

From Tools ->Preferences ->Advanced ->Toolsbars select Duplicate menu.
Now go to your profile\menu directory.You would find the menu file.Open it with Notepad.
[If you are not sure where your profile directory is Click on About from Help menu.It would be mentioned there.]

Find the [Edit Widget Popup Menu] section(make one if not present)

Then add the following lines
