VIP Map Pack 4 adds new modes to current Bad Company 2 maps Atacama Desert and Port Valdez. In Atacama Desert players can now partake in "Rush Mode," jockeying for position on the sandy wasteland. Conquest fans will now be able to fight alongside allies on Port Valdez, where U.S. command must defend the harbor from a Russion onslaught.

I would love to see NEW maps for a change instead of EA/Dice releasing modified versions of existing maps. This is why mod tools are so important in helping to keep a game alive.

Well at least the modified ones are free.....
 
New BC2 Onslaught 4 player Coop mode confirmed for PC. Details -

"The 4-player co-op Onslaught mode in DICE's Battlefield: Bad Company 2 has been confirmed for release on the PC version of the game, according to PC Gamer.

Four maps (Atacama Desert, Isla Inocentes, Nelson Bay, Valparaiso) have been converted to support the single-squad gameplay against AI enemies, in an approximation of the game's Rush gameplay mode. The DLC has previously been available as paid content on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game."

No info on whether this will be "Free" or not though...
 
I agree, BC2 is a very nice game with additions like this make it better :) I just hope somehow they should make the Vietnam pack free for us PC users :ashamed:
 
yeah previously it was really bright, more so in the desert maps. then i started adjusting contrast/brighntess, i increase it in the night maps and decrease it in the desert maps :P works for me
 
Atacama Rush mode looks really easy, but its tough like hell to penetrate the first 2 MCOMS :O

I died 20 times trying to detroy 'em :S

Nonetheless, waiting for tomorrow, am coming back!

"The four-player co-op "Onslaught" mode currently available on consoles in DICE's Battlefield: Bad Company 2 is no longer confirmed for release on PC. Last week, PC Gamer reported they had confirmed with EA UK PR that the mode would come to PC; however, today the outlet says otherwise.

We announced that Battlefield: Bad Company 2's Onslaught mode was coming to PC, just like it had to the consoles, PC Gamer's Jaz McDougall wrote. This took DICE's community manager by surprise.

Following the original story on PC Gamer, the DICE community manager tweeted The article published by PC-Gamer is not accurate. We are currently researching if Onslaught will be available for PC. No release date.

According to PC Gamer the error was due to "a miscommunication from EA UK PR." PC Gamer has since deleted its original story claiming confirmation of the mode.

When contacted for a comment regarding the DLC appearing on PC, EA told Shacknews, "We have not made any formal announcements regarding Onslaught for PC at this time."
