Can the belkin be used as a repeater / access point?

Point taken on the review system.

I currently have the Asus RT N13U, which I will put in Repeater mode, and make the Belkin my primary router.

The problem since I shifted rooms with my desktop, the signal in the room at the other end aint that good, and get drops in performance / connection.
 
Ahhh crap then i can use it coz i am using DIR 655 as primary which sits in first floor and one Asus RTN13U as repeater in 2 floor and need another for ground floor.

My belkin will be in market section if flipkart honors the deal.

Can the belkin be configured to be used with Beam Telecom Hyderabad?

How is the RT N13U working out for you as a repeater? Do you have any dip in performance? Also, how do you control the overlap SSID, i.e. exclude the client from connecting to the signal of the first router?

Yes, I am certain this can be used with Beam, I was using the N150 when in Hyderabad.
 
RTN13U works perfectly fine as a repeater no problem with SSID as just take the wifi and repeats it. I use the same SSID with the asus as well.

I cant comment on the range part because i get the range where my DIR 655 cant reach. I use is as a access point than a repeater , i have taken a CAT5 cable out of the Dlink and connected it to the Asus.

Since the SSID is same DHCP is disabled on the Asus i have no issues with the clients hopping networks.

Alright, thanks mate, this Belkin deal doesnt look like its going to go through.

What a waste of time.
 
I kinda love it when we think that we're trolling flipkart but secretly get our hopes up with these impossible prices. And then it's actually flipkart who's the one trolling us with the cancellations !
 
My order has been cancelled. Look in your account order history. No notification or reason for cancellation by mail or phone. They're not professional
