Breaking news !! She has just been assassinated. Details are scarce though....

Former Pakistan premier Benazir Bhutto [Images] is dead. According to television news reports Bhutto was hit by a bullet during a rally.

Initially reports said the Pakistan People's Party chief had escaped a second bid on her life in 10 weeks when a suicide bomber blew himself up minutes after she left the venue of an election rally in the garrison city of Rawalpindi, killing at least 20 people and injuring many others.

Witnesses said a man rushed towards Bhutto's car as she was leaving the sprawling ground, where she had addressed thousands of PPP supporters, and blew himself up.

Several people who were around her car were blown to pieces. A television reporter at the scene said the suicide bomber's head was found almost 70 feet from the site of the blast.

Eyewitnesses said body parts were strewn across the area. Ambulances rushed the injured from the spot to nearby hospitals.

Police officials said it was a suicide attack in which at least 20 people were killed and many others injured.

Arent you crying yet, Mr.Secular?

It is not about being secular. Death is always deplorable and always tragic. Why you mix your As**h*le ideolgy with such a sad news.

Can't you keep you mouth from spewing such a slime at this hours. At least for a min try and not to be a skinhead. You will feel human.

I have no love lost for Pakistan but the fact is that the country is going to dogs. The news of Bhutto's death is as significant for India as it is for Pakistan. They have nukes and they are losing their sane leaders at quite a fast rate... it does not bode well for any sensible person... neither in Pakistan nor in India. Unless of-course we are talking about racial and religious bigots. Both in Pakistan as well as in India

Didn expected such a comment from ur side on.

As Margoth just wrote pretty neatly, death shd be taken as it shd be.

Why wd u overlook the fact that wotever happens in that country which can be best related to another step towards unrest and anarchy, is another step closer towards India's Insecurity.
Pakistan has clearly stated once that if anyone tried to de-nuke them, they ll fire it towards india, as those mindless idiotic hardliners have every single agenda of theirs framed to counter India..

She wasnt too mch respected, but maybe her efforts cud have led to establishing democracy in some form, which cud still have been attributed to a step in the right direction.

^^ totally agree with you morgoth. This thing can or rather will cause a lot of chaos ( no pun intended ) if not now but there can be dire consequences which would affect our own security.

Think about some mad a@@ people managing the money and the arsenal when they give s$%t to humanity. Just don't want any mishaps in our country in this present scenario when things are looking good and better compared to the last couple of years.

May god grant peace to her soul and hope things to stay fine at our end.

Paki's, meh. They better not let this crap spill over my land.

R.I.P Bhutto.

(is it okay if I say this? She seemed like a good person to me. Don't know much about her history though)

I hope this brings an end to pakistan for good (rather their shitty governments). I have nothing against the common people in pak.

And R.I.P Bhutto!

All this is done and planned buy Musharraf. He is the only one who is behind this. Nothing can go gud in favour of public in Pak. I am feeling very sorry for Bhutto. My her soul rest in peace.

Bout time someone said that :hap2:

This news makes me feel sad, granted that she would have made not much diff at all as Pervez has lined everything up in his favour already. It's one less option available to the ppl of pakistan.

It isn't in our interest to be surrounded by failed countries but if we try to be pro-active about this they will inevitably blame us for any mess.

So we just sit quietly and watch the flames

I was wondering when something like this will happen. It was soo predictable.

This is just a beginning of end of Pakistan as we know it. I dont think the nation can survive like this, not for long.

I dont even think this is the end of this, I can already see next target.

Its more than clear than Benazir was one of the better politicians in Pakistan.. big thing now would be to see whether US will withdraw all support or tell "We'll go after the terrorists in Iraq or other countries where there's abundance of ..... well... OIL! "

R.I.P Benazir Bhutto

Its really a saddening thing. Look at where our human race is going we are hell bent on killing each other. We are just waiting for reasons. not good...... not good for Pakistan, not for us and the whole world.

Musharraf definitely had a hand in this. No denying that. And i feel sad for the three kids she left behind. They have been struggling all along, and this is an end no child would want.

Now lets see what the big brother does. I wouldn't be surprised if they had a say in this attack too! Wouldn't have helped them directly in any way, but still

She and her husband robbed the Paki people of billions of $s.
