PC Peripherals Benq 1640 ejection problem

I am having 6 months old Benq 1640 and the drive is having ejection problems lately. Sometimes the disk doesnt eject no matter what I do and I have to power off and on again and then eject the disk.

What is wrong with the drive?

yeah,BenQ has this little problem with many of their drives

Me had the same problem with my BenQ 1620 Pro,until i got it replaced!

probably the ejection mechanism is screwed. so better get it repaired/replaced befor your warranty expires

ya,
I had the same problem with my 1640 yesterday.The tray wouldnt eject.So restarted my comp and after several attempts atlast it ejected.
Thereafter i have no probs,untill yet.

nah molex is fine. The problem is that it does not occur or can be reproduced easily.Happens in random so its difficult for me to get it replaced
