Well, this moniter was advertised as a super high end dhcp dvi moniter, which was plagued with problems from the very start.
The dhcp via dvi is max 720p which is not super high end at all.
1080p would be considered high end and 720p normal hd thats like puting bicycle wheels on a porsche.U cant sell that as a super high end vehicle
U could say this vehicle looks nice but it will drive like crap unless the road is absolutely perfect and even then it will be a bit dodgey if u go too fast, come here and buy it cheap.
Have dell ever released a document stating known issues with each revision
and what each revision has done to adddress Banding, Cropping, 1:1 pixel support etc ? NO !
some simple flowchart or transparency from the company would put alot of anger to rest.so we are all left wondering about each revision and if its a total hoax or not.
Better wait and see the reviews of the a04 before getting one or wait
until they do the right thing and release a new one from scratch, without dodgey componrnts !
Having said that the moniter is very cool and Cheap
I think the reputation of the 2405 has been confused with the expectations of the 2407
which when released was a BIG JOKE:rofl: with Banding and Text blur.
That dsnt mean we should rmain silent and not speak out,if u say nothing of the problems u can just expect more of them in future releases
clearly they will do whatever they can get away with it.
If all u can afford is the dell u should prob get it...
or now there are more brands on the market or coming out, prob look to them
and see if they have the same problems.
