Never watch 3D movies. After headaches in Alice in Wonderland. Best halls are the City Select Walks. PVRs.

PVR Select City Walk is my favourite. A lot of people prefer DT Saket and Vasant Kunj, but I've always found their projectors to be quite substandard. The video quality is definitely not up to the mark!

PVR Plaza in CP is good too.

Slightly OT here - Why do all the listings for Transformers DOTM show TF:Revenge of the Fallen?

I went to two 3D wale halls yesterday to ask for Transformers, but they told me that some kind of city wide 'technical fault' is not allowing them to screen the movie just yet. Dunno what it is. Would love to see the movie. I hope it really does release tomorrow for good so that I can go and watch it. I can live with 2D too if need be.

So City Walk has the best picture quality?? Shall I go ahead ?? This saturday!!

Thanks guys!!
Please do tell how was the experience . I watched AVATAR in 3D at Citywalk and I felt the brightness was bit too low with the glasses on.

^^even i watched AVATAR 3D at PVR select citywalk and the brightness was definitely low, and the plastic polarized glasses were pathetic. I watched the recent pirates of carribean movie at PVR PRIYA theatre, it was a better 3D experience and they used battery operated 3D glasses. May be the cityselect PVR has upgraded itself but my last experience with avatar was pathetic.

Aahhh!! Then Citywalk nono.... I will prefer the battery operated glasses these plastic glasses are of no use!! Please let me know which halls use battery operated glasses...

3D in Priya!

I didn't know that. Will go for sure then. It is my fav hall. :)

Odion at Connaught Place or BIG Cinemas India Home Page This theater is own by Reliance and was the only Cinema at the time of Avatar 3D Movie (Jan, 2010), after Select City Walk.

The quality of brightness is less because most theaters use of Polarized Goggles, these goggles block some amount of brightness but a lot better than Red/Blue old 3D Format, they show full color. Shutter or LCD battery operated goggles are best because they use latest technology but too costly to afford by current Theaters.

Satyam is upgrading its theater in Patel Nagar they have ordered and received equipments, now special screen has been set up, only installation of camera left.

Have watched 3D movies in the following halls :

PVR Spice Noida (Bad)

Wave Cinema Noida (Really bad)

TGIP Noida (Really Really Bad)

PVR Priya (Ok)

PVR Select City Walk ( A bit better than OK)

No good option for 3D, so left watching 3D, always get a migraine after watching a 3D movie

I have heard there is one really good hall at Rajouri which shows some 15 min 5D movie, but haven't seen it yet.

You could try it out, if you really want to see some effects :-)

Try CineMax at pacific mall, they provide battery operated glasses and experience is mind blowing. I bet you'll love it.
Ya gone there. Experience was great.

None of the PVR at Saket Select are showing 2D Transformers. Cannot watch it now. Same with DT Saket. Crum.

:(
