MUST AND SHOULD HAVE GingerBread or SHOULD GET IT AS AN UPDATE FOR SURE...

I would then suggest the Incredible S. Not really much to pick between this and Desire S other than a better camera and slightly larger screen. Though it does not yet have the Gingerbread update, HTC is usually the quickest of all Android handset makers to release updates

Anything over my Present X10 mini is a huge upgrade.. I will wait until 2 more weeks and get it then..

It will be bought from FlipKart..

Now I would like to know what other options i have in that price range

I have bot two phones from flipkart, both fine

In my opinion the only phones I would buy today are:

Samsung Galaxy S(would pick it over Nexus s because of microsd card plus design plus screen vs just google device)

SE Arc

I won't go for any HTC device at present because they don't really offer anything over Galaxy S leave alone Arc.

Arc is the best of course, though Samsung's screen might be better, not sure on this.

However, if you can wait about 4-5 weeks, then go for Galaxy S2 for 31-32k

HTC Desire S

Samsung Galaxy S (not the SL)

If camera flash is not important for you, the Galaxy S is still the winner out of these.

Stay away from Incredible S, the reviews have trashed its camera.

Even i was soo much inclined onto Desire S but the Cam was not soo good...

How is the Galaxy SL? If i take that i can save some cash and get a good Dual Core Droid later on next year.....

^^ SL is good, it's the Galaxy S w/o SuperAmoled Screen(SuperLCD in SL), and the internal memory is 4GB, and the GPU is PowerVR SGX530 instead of SGX540.

But I heard the puppy gpu can still play HD games. Overall, for 19.6k, it's pretty bang for buck.

I am using SE X10 mini and i am fed up of SE..

Poor Software updates,very less battery backup and cheap materials :(

So against ARC

I was looking forward to buy Desire S but in wake of Dual core Droids, I wanna wait for SGS 2 till it gets down to around 27 or 25K

When is the SGS2 releasing guys?

Maybe Techradar should categorize it as worlds best 1GHz Single Core Android Phone :P

SGS2 is going SIM free for $425 in Korea !!

Hopefully it should be here before June :(

Saw that LG Optimus 2X is out..
Read about it in India Today G&G just today..
Price:30K.. Is it true?? If so,must wait and see the battle between 2x and SGS2
