Best animation movies?

I read you were originally offered the Spirit Stallion of the Cimarron Script before John Fusco. Is that correct? When was that? Why did you turn it down? Was it called Spirit then?

Not true. The animated movie Dreamworks asked me to do was the Ramayana, for which I did about five treatments before Dreamworks said that they were going to wait and see how Spirit did before seeing if they were doing more 2D (traditional) animation. I imagine Spirit must have disappointed them, for that was the last I heard from Dreamworks.

Him working on the script is apparently old news. Actual followup on production isn't.
It also isn't 2D anymore, the footage Aaj Tak showed was all 3D.
 
MOnster Inc ,the best one i have seen by pixar and wait for Wall-E ,check hte trailer in youtube ,its another master piece by Pixar,but yet to be released ,and Ice Age 3 ( Dawn of Dinosaurs ) is coming out in 2009
 
Simpsons the movie, and Futurama the movie. Both were hilarious.

Also by any chance is Keanau Reeves doing the voice for Lord Ram ?
 
i liked the anim in "iron giant" was cool

can you folks also suggest other techy/geek/fantasy kinda animated/CGI films (like final fantasy)

Final Flight of the Osiris is similar to The Spirits Within.
It also was produced by Square and has far superior CG compared to the latter.

My personal favourite was the World Record episode.
 
Kungfu Panda is gonna kick ass..best anime of the year...check out the trailers and the clips..u'l love it..
The fight wid that tiger is awesome..
 
Wait for a few months and you'll be treated to Wall E....Pixar's next animation film....this film will destroy all others..The lighting is insane and the story is funny.
 
I forget the name of an animated movie, where a kid wishes of travelling the universe in his own space "ship" one day- err... really there were ships and pirates and the boy was the key to some treasure or something. :)

i wonder how large the file will be...
