Guide Best Apps for Android (FOSS)

What's your use case with ntfy? I think it is for getting push notifications without play services.
Are you using custom roms without play services?

i send a message to a topic with activity name, the message is then observed by an application which starts time tracking on simple time tracker using broadcast receiver

Thanks for the review ! will try it out
Yes I did, but wanted automatic sync like GPhotos. Also, it doesn't have multi - user like Immich does. Overall, Immich is much more polished and feature-filled. It has its issues, but after using Photo prism for about an year, switched to Immich and haven't looked back!

This is a continuation of my thread on basic Privacy Setup on TE.

Many members came up with excellent app suggestions. Let me summarise everything daily and keep it updated along the way. Should be FREE and Open Source.

2FA - Ente
Adblocker - TrackerControl
Bookmarks - Raindrop
Browser - Brave , Iceraven , IronFox
DNS - NextDNS
Email - Proton , Tuta
Email Alias - Addy , Duck
Gallery - Fossify
Keyboard - Heliboard , Futo
Music Streaming - Harmony
Note taking - Logseq , SimpleNote
Password Manager - Bitwarden
Scanner - OSS Document Scanner
Signal - Molly
Syncing - Syncthing
Here's some I use daily
Fold - To keep track of your savings and investment in one place
Caffeine - To keep your display on until turned off
LocalSend - Send documents from phone to PC and vice versa
Obsidian - Note-taking (not backed up, but you can with Syncthing that is mentioned above)
