Back again with the best camera of 2025. Been using this only for a week so far, I can say this a slight upgrade over X100 Ultra in the camera department everything else is a big upgrade.

Been using X200 Pro since launch day (dec '24) and the phone is almost perfect. Only problem is some apps aren't optimized well enough for mediatek cpu. Olx and swiggy freezes 5 out of 10 times.
My wife's pixel 6a performs better in some scenarios and that's a budget phone.

Ah, didnt know apps could freeze on mediatek.

You only listed two. There could be many more?

Bro, these look too good
I hope now more phones will come with 35mm main lens
I think X200 ultra has the best spread of focal lengths
Indeed. I used to default 35mm on x100u too, so much less distortion & perfect for framing.
How you got the phone bro.. it's not available in india.. :(
I got 5 of these from HK to India. Even made a post to check interest if anyone's interested to get one.

I Blame FuntouchOS for that tbh.
Can normal users spot a difference between these pictures and those taken with DSLR ?
It's very difficult to stop the difference unless you're pixel peeping at 300% zoom. :D
HK specifically IIANM
Yes Hong Kong. Beautiful country <3

What service did you need from vivo?
Funny story.
The x200 pro has a prominent camera bump, and the finishing isn’t perfect.
Anyway, I took my 1 week old vivo to goa for the christmas holidays. A lot of sand got into places you definitely don’t want sand in..including the holes in my phone.

After coming back, I tried cleaning off the sand carefully with a needle and isopropyl alcohol. It did clean up for the most part, but I also found a few gaps in the phone's body. The factory gum came off very easily where the camera bump fits. Turns out it was a known issue in the first batch of phones. A few people reported it too - like here

I reported it to Vivo, visited their service center, and without much hassle, they offered a replacement. I had a tiny scratch on the display too but they still gave me a replacement.
Also, they have a Premium queue in their service centers, so if you have X series phones you skip the line.

He says so in such a calm manner :nailbiting: o_O

So much for IP68 rating. This phone will be toast in a drizzle let alone anything heavier.

I'm wondering what the reception would have been had you sustained water damage. Through no fault of yours. But the water ingress indicators turning all pink would complicate your case.

Essentially you lucked out by spotting the problem before it became one.

What confidence do you have that the replacement won't have such a rookie problem?

They didn't check for damages well enough. Like I said, scratch on my display and they didn't make a fuss out of it. Just wrote "good" for phone condition.

They would have to disassemble it. But the phone would have conked out already anyway due to water damage.

You were lucky you didnt get the phone wet as luck of luck your replacement was done in the dry season

Yes but it says warranty replacement which is correct given what you described.

Quite frankly I would expect this from any company for that sort of manufacturing defect.

I'd be slightly paranoid if this happened to me. Like checking for gaps every few months :grumpy:
