Best DNS for Airtel Broadband

My Default DNS is 202.56.215.55 (Primary) & 202.56.215.54 (Secondary) but are giving me trouble so what shall I use?

From DOS prompt run:

ping gmail.com

If u get answers within a second that means OpenDNS is working fine.

Or

Use following DNS server address

208.67.222.222 

208.67.220.220

Airtel is facing DNS issues lately.Speeds also drop badly

I sometimes have trouble with the OpenDNS, where the DNS resolutions fails. Normally airtel DNS works well enough.

the real techies use local caching dns server i use "pdnsd" on linux... for windows i guess "treewalk" is good the last time i saw... only the wannabies have dns issues ehehe

You can add even more dns addresses in "Advanced TCP/IP settings" dns tab

125.22.47.125 & 202.56.250.5

ping to gmail ~400ms

Haven't faced any issues with these for the past 2 and half years
