Best earphone for max. 300 bucks?

Been using my sony walkman's earphones(mdr-e808) for god knows how long..atleast 4~5 years !

one of the best darn earphones i've used..my ipod earphones are no where in comparison..

And all of a sudden it just died on me, yesterday !

(kinda careless with it,and wen it's in my coll. bag,it's a nightmare ;))

So,i need an immediate earphone replacement for my ipod,notebook..

So plz do suggest somthing that looks cool & sounds awesome !

hope it features something like my sony's 'mega-bass' feature..

luv bass !

So,here's my criteria..

<= Rs.300 (Current Price)

Don't need the ear-plug type !

Don't need the 'clip-on to your ears' type !

Don't need noise cancellation too!

Has to be easily available

And i'd really appreciate the model no. & exact price..

well,i was looking for some model from creative, sony, panasonic or some basic model from sennheiser (not sure how expensive it is!)??

not very keen on philips..

just went through creative and sony's website..

they have quite a few entry level ones..

not sure bout their price and performance though..

planning to get it by this evening..
 
seriously, the philips has as much bass , and is cheaper :P

compared it with the stock earbuds which came with my sony walkman and panasonic discman.

well, since i posted the best bang for buck earbud and you wanted more expensive :bleh:

dude , shop around , and see if you can get these philips. there is another philips model which comes for 40 rs in a rectangular box- they suck real bad. DONT get them:P

buying the other stuff might be a bit of a gamble , as after spending 300 bucks , you might get something which sucks, especially since at that price range , there are a lot of fake sony/panasonic/ipod earbuds available, and it takes a trained eye to spot the fakes.

most of the cheap earbuds in this price range have good treble , but bass is hard to find ;)

I once was in college and very broke , hence my extensive knowledge of earbuds at this price point :P

jus came back home after paying a visit to few electronic stores..

they only had the fllg:

creative basic stereo earphones mp-60 or 50 -190 /-

panasonic SBS earphones RP-HV103 - 190 /-

ep 635 - 8xx /-

apple earphones( 1k ! gawd !!)

and

cheap philips earphones - 50 !!!?

guess i have to wait till i get some time to go to richie street, to hunt for a good one at a good price or SHOP ONLINE!
 
Buy from theitdepot. Many people have bought from there and I believe they were quite happy with the service.

They have their store here in chennai, so need to pay for shipping.

What I meant to say is, its available in the market less than 95 rs.
