motorola have also come out with a new cell for 3499 i think. I dont remember the exact model but the ads have started airing recently wherein the dad keeps scolding the son but he continues listening to music ( and keeps shaking his head ) . I guess it has fm and expandable memory upto 2 gb..

I am planning for this one:Tech2.com India > Spice Launches Entry-Level Camera Phone > News on Value Mobile

now u might be thinking why spice??Tech2.com India > Spice Mobile Showcases Video Handset > News on Multimedia Mobile

it shows that its good and getting matured day by day!!:P

also have check on sony erricson R300 and R306 (search it on google).

will have to wait as they will be launched in india first after 2 months

Right now motorola w230 must be considered as best option in <3.5k range.

some issues with w230

1)connectivity problem(not even infrared)

2)no video playback:@

3)sound through external speakers average:(

4)java games wont work :frusty:

some nice things about w230

1)fm radio with recording

2)MP3 player (iMelody,MIDI,MP3,AMR formats) with playlist organiser

3)you get 256mb card with phone

4)USB charging...
