One of mine friend wants to edit HD Video and Audio Professionally, and he requires a BEST Free/Paid Audio & Video Editor Suite for his task

Can someone pls help me, so I can suggest him

1.Audacity(audio)

2.Microsoft Movie Maker(windows) or iMovie(mac)

Paid:

1.Sony Vegas(audio & Video)

2.Premiere Elements(audio & Video)

3.Pinnacle
 
Paid app - Corel VideoStudio 12.

I have used the aforementioned app. Nothing fancy, but gets the job done. And you can output in a plethora of formats.

If you really want some professional paid softwares then I would recommend
MAGIX
It rules!!! in terms of looks,perfection,support,editing etc....
Try Magix Music Maker and you will love it.I have been using it and trust me its the best piece of software out there
You can also go for Sony Vegas Pro or Corel Studio but i haven't seen them.
