Ummm surely not since it's not out yet, but yeah apparently HP does offer free "Upgrade to Windows 7" or that's what the dealers have told me. Will ofcourse have to confirm that. Will post an update when I have the confirmation. Cheers!
 
Aite guys, i've gone ahead and bought the 1110-AX. Got it for Rs. 47,500 + Rs. 5,500 for +2 Years Extended Warranty, from a dealer in Andheri (East), Mumbai.

A big thanks to all those who posted on this thread and helped me out!
 
^Great choice, Congratulations. :) I got one for my friend yesterday for 47.1k after some intense bargaining. Even I fell in love with this laptop as soon as I laid my eyes upon it. Only a Sony Vaio can beat it in terms of looks. I am so jealous of my friend right now. :P
 
Thanks guys, will try and post some pics soon... anyone has any queries or wants me to test anything on this laptop, i'll surely try and help. Anything apart from drop tests ie. :D
 
^What kind of frames are you getting in games like crysis, GTA4, etc. Does it have any heating issues like a few members mentioned?
 
As of now I still haven't installed any games, infact i'm just in the process of installing GTA4... will post results soon. I don't think i'd install crysis on this laptop, don't think it'll be playable at all but i'll be installing COD4 so i'll keep you posted.

As of now i'm running windows7 RTM and I haven't faced any heating issues whatsoever. I mean ofcourse it generates heat but nothing unlike other laptops. Need to see what happens when I game.

Thanks! :) Yeah infact i've shocked myself with the common sense i've shown while making this purchase if you know what I mean.

Now to answer Bluffmaster:
Seems like bad news... for all intents and purposes GTA IV is UNPLAYABLE. Maybe the game is just TOO CPU dependent or i've screwed up with the GPU drivers, for the record i'm running Windows 7 RTM with the latest GPU drivers from ATI. I have GTA patched upto the 2nd patch, still downloading 3 and 4 but I really don't expect much to change.

I don't see the point of installing COD4 but maybe I just will or i'll just go ahead with installing the game that I really want to run on this system, ANNO 1404. For folks who love RTS and haven't checked out this game yet, please do you won't regret it!

If anyone can help me out here with some info on why i'm facing these issues with the GPU i'd really appreciate it.
