Take palit gtx260 216sp sonic edition which u might get in Rs.10xxx and also look for gtx275, if it fits in ur budget then take this else gtx 260 rocks.

A BETTER CONFIG:- For gaming...

Core i7 860 2.8GHz @ Rs. 14.8K

Cooler Master Hyper 212 @ 2.2K

MSI P55 CD53 @ 7.5k

Corsair 4GB DDR3 1600MHz C9 Titanium @ 5.8k

Acer V233H 23.6" FULL HD LCD Monitor @ 10.6k

LG 22x DVD @ 1.1k

Altec Lansing VS2421 2.1 @ 2.6k

CM Centurion 690 @ 4.4k

Corsair VX550W @ 5.8k

Razer Death Adder @ 2.5k

Razer Arctosa @ 2.5k

Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 1TB @ 4k

Sapphire HD5850 1GB GDDR5 @ 16.5k

It's much much cheaper than what you've mentioned, but it performs faster (i7 i860 is faster than i920 and consumes lesser power too).

Money isn't an issue and I want sheer performance capabilities go with a i7 920. i7 920 will allow me to 2+ SLI/CFX without a bottleneck and the triple memory is a plus for serious applications.

Also the yet to be released i9 is confirmed to use the 1366 socket which is used by the i7 920.

If money is not a problem then get the Sapphire HD5870 1GB DDR5 - 24k.

As of now latest graphics memory in use is GDDR5. There are no commercial cards with GDDR6.

I meant money was not a parameter while buying a processor...........

Oops. If you have a 12k budget then stick with the HD4890. If you are gonna CF in the future then get a Sapphire 1GB HD5770(DX11) - 10.25k.

Its consumes low power and should be ideal to CF in the future with your current PSU.
HD5770 max load power consumption is only 108w:hap2:

i read in someplaces that amd will bring 5830 in february replacing 4890.you might what to check that out.

IMO, it's better if the op sticks to i7 920. Better and a lot safer for overclocking. Crossfire/sli at x16 is a bonus too.
Get gtx 275 if it's in your budget. Else, get GTX 260 core 216 or wait for hd 5830. If going for dx10 cards, nvidia is way to go imo as it is physx ready.

anyone know the price of xfx gtx 275?

I'd suggest you wait for the HD5830 which is to be released in the upcoming week. Else if you can stretch your budget a little bit, go for HD5850 IMHO.

How much is it going to be priced (in approximation)?

Will HD5770 suffice at 1920x1080 at high settings?
