i wld b usin a i7 920 core processor.

^^ Could you please write it properly. This is proper tech forum and dont expect people to get this language translated inorder to help others. How hard is it to type from the keyboard? How much time does it take to put couple of more alphabets? People are making their sms habits as an excuse but its the same people who literally hardwired english inside their skull for 10 years in a school.

Could you please mention your complete system configuration including the psu, OS and the resolution of your screen if you are interested for a serious advice.
 
am really sorry for that,

i havent yet purchased the rig,
but have short listed the following components.

Processor :- Intel i7 core 920 D0 stepping.

Motherboard :- Gigabyte's GA-EX58-UD5.

RAM :- mushkin 998674.(frequency:1333MHz, Latency:6-6-6-18, Voltage:1.65V)

Powersupply :- Corsair CMPSU-750TX .

Case :-Antec 900.
Video card :- ?? (Nvidia's GTX 275 OR AMD's 4890)
which of the above said card would be the best bet,?(in terms of performance,value for money,power consumption at idle etc etc.)
Hard drive :- Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 ST31000333AS./ ???
any suggestions would be most welcomed.
monitor :- having a doubt here,
currently am owning a 32 inch LG scarlet 2.0 full HD LCD TV.
can i use it as ma monitor,?
would i be having any issues,?
any advantages, disadvantages...??(of usin a 32'LCD TV as ma monitor)

TV's are generally not suited for monitors as text is very blurry. But you can check if you are comfortable.

Between the 4890, and GTX 275, its a toss up both perform on par on average. I would take one which is cheaper, better brand and warranty conditions etc.
 
If CUDA apps, PhysX games or folding@home type apps are important for you, go for GTX 275 else go for HD4890.

If you're looking only for gaming performance, read the plethora of reviews available that'll show which of these cards is better for your favourite games.
