I too am a user of BSNL 500 Home plan. Free during 2-8am means you can schedule any large download you might like, in that time period using some scheduler.

500 plan is fine... download speed is 200-210kb max and upload speed is 50 kb max .. use time scheduler for automatic download (for 2 to 8) 1.5 gb for home 500 and 2.5 gbfor home 500 + as day time limit

Yeah, now there are great Airtel Plans available for download purpouse....

Like 1099 plan, 1299 plan, 2999 Freedom (2 Mbps) - And all are u/ltd 24/7...So its great

But, If you are low on budget and mostly put downloads at night....

Then BSNL Home 500 plan is great!!
