Best Home Theater at 20,000 Rs.?

HEllo Guys, I needs Urgent Help. We Buying New Home Theater(HT) / Music System Very soon .
Basic Requirement ::
1. Its Should Play All Type of Song Clearly ( Like : Amplifier , Freedom album by Akon. , Hindi/Marathi Songs etc.)
2. HT Will Used Mostly For Listenning Music 9 Then watching Movies and last for TV )
3.HT Should be atleast have 5.1 audio.

Right Now , We have SOny's Hi-Fi System( Bought on 2006 at 24K Price) , I Did Not Remember Model Number now , But Its Almost Similer to this "Archived MHC-GNZ88D : Mini Hi-Fi System : Hi-Fi System : Sony India ( All Function are same as above just looks is change)

So Guys , Which is Best HT in This Price range 20,000-25,000 ( MAX) ?

Right Now we have Sony 32" LED TV too.
 
right now , we having sony hi-fi system . Speakers are good but needs sub-woofer for more bass.....so should i buy only DVD/BR Player with current Speakers ??
 
I guess your sony speakers already have very much bass, Sony's speakers are not accurate speakers but they have definitely floor pounding bass and you are saying that they have less bass. I also have Sony Hi-Fi which is strictly only 2 channels and they have very much bass.
 
If you want to listen to music, you dont want 5.1 or more. You need a stereo setup. DAC/Xonar soundcard -> Amp -> Floorstanding speaker. Book shelf speakers might give you better quality on a low budget, but I guess you need a lot of bass.

If you want a home theater - for movies - buy an Onkyo 3300. It would be in your 20K-25K range.
 
My First priority is Listenning Music......Current SOny's Sound is good Enough but i want bluray player+USB ( Which is current one is missing).....Should SOny/LG/Samsung Bluray player works with these sony speakers ( Speakers wire are +ve/-ve type )??
 
If you want a blue ray player with usb hard disk capability then you can get LG bd550 i have been using it for past 1 year...

You can get it for 5k if you find your current Sony setup to be capable enough.. But i think for your music your setup is alright you don't need a separate subwoofer unless you need it for the movies especially

If you need a 5.1 setup then I would say you get onkyo hts3300 it's a best buy :)
 
Frankly I don't know much about home theater systems, i'm using 21" sony CRT TV at home :P but allow me to pitch in here and say that I took a demo of sony 5.2 speaker system in reliance timeout today, the speakers(2 towers+2 subs(yes 2 SUBS!)+2 rear+1 center) was retailing at 18k without receiver, with receiver it was 25 or something. The speakers were big as in BIG, they were bigger than the 5.1 of pioneer. Bass was floor shaking but mids were so-so. If you're not an audiophile then you can have a look at them.
 
in your budget you can go for Onkyo HTS3400, 5.1 home theatre system,
it will be around 25000 Rs, but worth the money and way better then sony
philips, LG and pansonic home theatre system. and please add 2000 Rs for
a decent dvd player.
