Hey guyz,
Me n my four friends who are my neighbours as well hv connected our systems on LAN......i want to know from all the experts here 2 things

1. what are the best games to play on LAN???

2. How do i establish wireless connectivity amoung us??How many Accesspoints i would need??How many routers do i need???how do i plan the network??What make of Equipments are best to buy???And what other equipments do i need other that routers??Amature at this....Plz help

Don't know much about wireless connectivity.. got a wired lan setup here...

But can definitely tell you the games you and the other guys should be playing...

1. CS 1.6 / CZ :hap2:
2. A racing game like NFSMW :ohyeah:
3. Quake 3 Arena/ UT/ HALO - Old but pure gold...:hap2:
4. FIFA 06/07.. would recommend 07.
5. If into strategy then definitely go for Age of Empires 2..find it better and simpler to play than aoe 3... and Command and Conquer...

There you go...

My advice: Somehow you still tend to enjoy the older games when it comes to playing multiplayer.. The same reason why cs 1.6/cz is more widely played than css... No offense to the TE clans...:P

Watz NFSMW??HALO???.....i'm currently playin Swat4,UT,AOM,IGI2-Covert Strike....any one advice on wireless connectivity plz.....

NFSMW-Need For Speed Most Wanted
Halo is the hottest selling title by Microsoft... It's a first person shooter. Check out any gaming website like gamespot etc to find out about it

Where's my post on the the tools req for wirelesss conx?
Hmmm.. get a router(linksys) man. But still the range matters as suggested by Superczar in an earlier post.
If you are using lappy, then make sure it supports wireless.
If you own a PC, then linksys wireless ethernet card should do the trick :ohyeah:

no dude still workin on pros n cons.....still that thing is goin on in my mind wat supercarz said in the other thread

- relatively Poor pings
- relatively Poor thoroughput

so still thinkin, the other guyz also seem to be half minded about this n even to make investment.....just waiting for more posts/opinions before goin for it

Hmmm... anyways, i'll be giving that a shot pretty soon sometime after i am done with my work and exams :-)

will keep ya updated.

Good luck
