y dont u try Zen Xfi ,its better than the regular ZEN, i got ma zen 3 months back thru a friend of mine from the US i am repenting now 
after seeing the ZEN Xfi
after seeing the ZEN XfiFinally got my hands on a Creative Zen Stone Plus with In-Built Speakers (Yeah - I don't know why I wanted that - maybe I want to play songs loud like some of those fools in local trains !). Got it from Mahavir - Lamington Road. Damages 2700. 1 year warranty.
Have used it for a couple of days.
The size is exactly that of a Zen stone. However, after using for a couple of days I do feel that the navigation / menu selection on this model is a little annoying. The interface is not user friendly, and the display is small. I just wanted file browsing (I didn't go for an Ipod shuffle for the same reason), and a small, cheap and good player. But not much on offer here - the file browsing is not intuitive, and the display is so small, if you foreget the name / location of the folders that you added on the player, it is as good as using a shuffle. The sound quality is quite OK ( I have been using my creative EP 630 instead of the bundled ear phones). I think the higher frequency sounds are not audible (not an audiophile). Will tinker with the equalizer settings, and try to find a better combination (have been using default configurations till now).
The display is nothing to brag about, but at least its there. Plus you can't have more than three level of Music Folders - the player can't go higher than 3 levels. Also browsing individual files is not possible, you can only go to respective folders and play the first song (at least that is what I have figured out till now).
All in all, am satisfied with the purchase. The browsing sucks a bit, but I shall have to do with it. Sound quality and battery life, everything else seems quite good. Plus it has in built speakers and FM ! (none of the IPods have it
