X38, if you got the money maybe even X48.

Some 'infamous' ones are Asus P5E , Giga X38 DQ6, Abit IX38

Pl post d price of d baby tat u just laid ur hands on.. :)

And d batch as well..

And mind u ur 680i board would not do justice as much as a P35 or an X38 would do.. ;)

welcome to TE ! ur very first post is creating waves of high hopes for the members. hope they(the waves) don't dash against market realities of jacked up prices. now pray, tell us where & how to place orders for the E8500 for Rs.12300/- :)

LOL LOL LOL I think I will have to sell my car, house and also commit my first born child if I have to a get a Skulltrail platform running 2 CPU's AND SLI also.
:rofl: :rofl: :rofl:

Also, i dont think there are any games out there yet to take advantage of 8 cores :no:

@gannurox.. :S

I am not sure about that 680i post of yours. Right now I only have Air cooling, am nowhere close to maxing out on Voltage, have stock value ddr2. So I think theres enough headroom there unless there is a chipset limitation.

Dude, My suggestion is, if u've moolah to burn, sell that 680i board n get a P35 one...

^^nopes nopes, reports are that these wolfies are doing great on 965 chipsets, so why dont you get hold of a used P5B Dlx or something, Man i already have a busted P5B Dlx, seems like its time to get it RMA'd
