sorry if this has already been posted,, but what are the best online recharge sites?
i've tried a couple of them , (like rechargenw and mobWik)
(and i am not advertising)
any other sites u liked?
and for me rechargenw is not working, so i need a new site

Most of the operators allow you to directly recharge from their website itself, they also have options like mChek for Airtel, Docomo etc with which you can recharge directly from the phone.

If you have an ICICI account, you can do from here ICICI Bank Online - Online Mobile Recharge, DTH Recharge, Toll Recharge

One thing I like about ICICI recharge is that it supports flexi amount recharge options for Airtel where most websites allow only fixed denominations like 50, 100 etc :) If you want to recharge directly from the phone, take a look at ngpay. Its a real life saver sometimes! :)

rechargeitnow is also one of the options, if it's real urgency and you dont have any other options like ngpay/mcheck etc. I have used it quite a few times.

^ I used to like rechargeitnow, but recently it throws an error when trying to recharge saying it has blocked my account due to suspicious transactions! lol

lol ur accounts are getting blocked everywhere (read about ebay somewhere :P )... what exactly do u do with those.. :bleh:

Recharge guru is good.I have done recharge a couple of times from NZ for a friend of mine in India .They are fast usually recharge happens in less than 20 mins .I guess they are the only folks out there who accept paypal

Recharge Guru.Their website looks cluttery but customer support is really good .

Haha! Lol. This is of no fault of mine :) I don't know what algorithm they use to detect such accounts and its not an issue for me alone, few of my friends had the same issue. :P This is what they said when I mailed them

In Ngpay do we need to buy some PIN or something ??? Last time i wanted to recharge a vodafone number of a friend at the end it told me to enter / buy a PIN. What is this can anyone explain ?

^ They have two options Buy Pin and Instant Recharge. Select Instant recharge and your number will be recharged immediately after payment, no need for PIN etc.

But for Airtel only Buy Pin option is there which is the only thing I dislike about ngpay.

I use Mobikwik.....they charge some 2% extra.....but the service is just kickass :) ....works fine even with BSNL 2G/3G recharges. Otherwise for general ones ngpay is the best.

this mcheck is not getting activated in my Nokia 5235

I tried couple of times, but everytime It shows me activate option only under Airtel Live. Is there any ext app of theirs that I need to download?

^^ Yes there is a Mchek java app that you can download. I dont know from where..sorry for that.

The application for basic phone recharges would not use your GPRS connection but instead use normal SMS way of recharging.

I have it installed in my 5230.

ezrecharge.in (though they charge a hefty amount) they are pretty quick. Rechargeitnow is best but at times they give an error saying 'could not process transaction' but money gets deducted.

I tried rechargeguru as i needed the top up immediately. I did the payment via paypal at 1pm and waited... and waited...

Finally, the topup was done at 10:30 in the night.

Has anyone tried paymate? ::MobileTopUp::

Don't banking sites allow this already? I top up my Vodafone from my bank account directly
