Best option for Photosharing?

I was looking for an alternative to imageshack.us as a photo host.

My requirements are:

1) Ability to post direct Forum codes for my pictures.

2) Photo album making and sharing via single links.

I will also be using it for personal photos and so need it to be secure, trusted and reliable. Please let me know the best reliable photo host.

Also, the images uploaded to imgur are made public by them and they are only hosted as long as they get atleast 1 view per week! . I want my images to be private and want them to be hosted permanently.
 
Ok now I am confused. Doesn't photobucket make our uploaded photos public in their public gallery?

And what about picasa, do they have an open public gallery?
