Best possible P & S camera around 6K

Guys m looking for advice on Best possible P & S camera around 6K never mind even gray. 720p feature is a big welcome n can squeeze one more grand for that if not possible in 6K:bleh:.
 
No suggestions as yet :(

Anyways here is my own shortlist of things so please suggest me what gives best VFM among them and what are there approximate gray mark prices here in India as I know only amazon prices of them n of-course huge Indian MRPs of them as well.

720p

Model no , pixels, optical zoom, screen size, price at amazon (floating)

Panasonic Lumix DMC FH20 (14MP,8X,2.7") 130$

Panasonic Lumix DMC FH1 (12MP,5X,2.7") 110$

Canon powershot SD780 IS (12MP,3x,2.5") 170$

Sony DSC W350 (14MP,4x,2.7") 160$

If you know better performing 720p model then these around 8K please let me know.

640x480

Nikon coolpix L22 (12MP,3.6x,3") 90$

Nikon coolpix L20 (10MP,3.6x,3") 100$

Polaroid 1031 (10MP,3x,3") 70$

Sony DSC W310 (12MP,4x,2.7") 120$

Sony DSC 2100 (12MP,3x,3") 100$

Kodak Easyshare C142 (10MP,3x,2.5") 70$

If you know better performing 640x480 model then these around 6K please let me know.

PS : These are only specs one can't judge performance of a camera only with stats specially image n video capture quality so if anybody used these his/her inputs will be a great help to deciding in purchase.

A free bump with the same request as the OP. Looking for a compact digicam for my sis-in-law in a budget of 6k to 7k max. HD video recording would be desirable. Also, Li-ion batteries are preferred over 2 AA batteries. Please suggest.
