Hi, I've got to send a pair of IEMs to Singapore soon and was wondering what the best way of sending them there would be.

It's a tiny box that won't weigh more the 0.5kg which seems to the minimum chargeable weight in any case. I spoke to Fedex and was told it would be between Rs.1800/- and Rs.2200/- depending on the priority options I use.

Are there any cheaper options that are reliable?

send it by speed post. i've used it to rma my ram last time and send it to germany and it reached within a week to 10 days. singapore should be a lot faster

Thanks, will try speed post. Can I pack up the stuff and take it to them or would they need to see it first?

Dunno where you stay but here in Mumbai only GPO which is the head of all post offices accepts electronic & media items.Try sending it unregistered if you wanna save money. They won't even check the contents.Registered (Speedpost) is same as normal but slightly expensive & you have to sigh a declaration & time consuming.Practically speaking you don't have any advantage of unregistered over speedpost as both go by air.
