I don't know about others but i have installed almost over 100 apps on my phone right now, yet to find any lag due to them. These include huge games as well.

I didn't really get your there. But if you are telling abt those blogs where people are saying Nexus "7" ( read it's 7 2012 edition ) is dying after some months use, then yeah that's true. Many complaints of same sort. I don't have nexus tablet so I can't comment on that.

Nexus 4 afaik has only one issue, - red light of death and I never faced that till now.

I meant that people using android defend many a times they never lag (which may be true for them) but the general consensus seems it gets laggy later on when more stuff is added and you have widgets and all. I am still saying this is highly subjective and experience varies from user to user. And most people who think they have beast of hardware do not probably realize that they have that hardware because the software is no optimized enough to run on lower specs and hence there is direct relation between more features and hardware requirements now a days.

Yep, agreed. Optimization is very very important. Even if you have octa core ( the new one in which samsung says it actually uses all 8 cores ) multiple amount of ram- but if the software is not optimized with the hardware, it will lag no matter what. :)[DOUBLEPOST=1380605564][/DOUBLEPOST]

Which phone? if nexus 4, yep same here.

hmm, I have heard almost reverse of what you are saying. The one and only reason why people are selling their HTC One soon as they bought it was due to Sense 5. User interface was weird, ugly and sometimes laggy. Can't confirm as I never had a HTC phone. The only thing HTC One has is it's looks.

From where are you hearing all this bs really ? Haven't you seen the reviews of the device till yet ?

It's not BS dude. The only thing that's off about HTC is sense 5. And yes I have seen all the reviews. It's good if you are previous HTC customer and are used to Sense UI, but it's quite weird when you are coming from like samsung , iPhone or nexus.

In my experience every Android phone lags(not talking about micro-lags) depending upon the apps that are open in the background. Whenever I find my Galaxy Nexus lagging, I open up the recent apps and there usually is just 60-100mb RAM free. Same goes for the Note 2 that I used before this. Now the Note 2 has double the RAM that is in the Galaxy Nexus but out of that nearly 800mb is always being used by Touchwiz.
Currently if you someone is looking for the best Android experience, the phone to buy is the Motorola X from what I have heard. Some personal friends who are Android users from the G1 era are using it in US and they are truly impressed by it. It is only a dual core device and clearly demonstrates the value of software optimization and hopefully inspire other Android manufacturers to devote more resources and time to this important aspect of mobile phone development.

It's not weird man, as simple as that. It's definitely the smoothest and most refreshing skin after miui and stock aosp. If you see the reviews you know what i am talking about.

Heard the same. Software optimization is exactly what a phone needs right now. Even with dual core, Moto X beats quad core processor phones easily at benchmarks.

Guys I am using using Samsung smart phones from a long time and if you want this brand, i can assure you as far as my handsets are concerned never felt any problem of hanging and lagging. i models i used are Samsung Grand, Samsung Grand Quattro, Galaxy Note2. All these sets are classic whether you play games, browse internet or even work on official documents - every thing works fine. Really Gr8
