Audio Best substitute for APPLE earphones

hi friends,
i have got Apple's Classic ipod but my earphones wire has got detached from the jack pin.I had the talk at there callcentre also,they suggested to go for new one as the repairing cost for will be more than the new one's cost and would take a time.
So,friend please suggest me any good alernatives or some good substitute for them .(My budget is Rs.1000+200)

^^You mean the apple earphones have gone bust right ?? (speakers ???? )

In that case just get new earphones like PL11/PL30 etc.

PL11 will cost about 600 Rs (+-10%)

Well, if you can afford it, Meelectronics M6 is a great deal for 1200 bucks.

Or else you can go for iems like pl11,pl30.
 
The same apple ones are available on ebay for 800....There was a deal also on the site for them check the members market...

else i will suggest you pl30/pl11 or you can go for Sony MDR ED12LP for about 700 bucks if u want something non inears like the Apple ones.....I have them and they sounds far better than the default Apple ones...
 
You should have specified that if you want to remain with the "TYPE of headphone APPLEs are" or do you want to upgrade to something better? At 1200 you can get many (AFAIK and AFA i have researched) good IEMs like "Head-Direct RE2, Sennheiser CX250 , Koss KE29 , Sony MDR-EX082 , Xears Bullet XB120PRO [the best of the lot but a bit costly at 25$] , H2O Audio Flex" Check them all. and Decide! and i would suggest Upgrade! ;)

RE2 costs around 2k and would be out of budget for OP.

OP Please don't buy ep630. They are not that good, i have owned one, so i can tell you.

You can go for PL30. I have owned that too. Its hell a lot better than ep630.

The audiophiles faheem and esantosh here can give more details. :p

the lynx website isn't working as of now, but it was cheaper.

However you can go to mediahome's website and check it out.
