Laptops Best time to buy a Dell Laptop from US ?

which is the best time to buy a Dell Laptop from US ? I mean when can we expect best bargains and offers on the Dell website ?

Any help in this regard will be appreciated:)
 
:) Not just dell, almost everythin, thanks giving time of course. And since its not far away see if u can get someone coming in dec 1-2nd week. As far as I am concerned thats the best time to be in US, ahh just love those Thanksgiving, Christmas season.

I have an issue here. My brother is there in US but he is coming back on 3rd Dec and thanksgiving is on 27th Nov, so how what can he do in this case ?

Online purchase at that time would mean that i have to wait for a couple of weeks or more before the lappy arrives, but i dont have that much time.

Please suggest some alternatives. :(
 
arey yaar...unlike in india DELL US got a lot of retail shops ...ask ur bro to pick one from the shop....Word of advice though ...try shopping early in the morning...real early....& u wont get much discounts on those lappys thouggh though some other stuffs are available at throw away price ...Good Luck

does that mean you are suggesting he should reach early to one of those retail dell outlets and get the laptop from that store itself on the Thanksgiving day ?
But for that he needs to first zero down one store and then make sure that the laptop that i want is available there. My bro has no knowledge whatsoever about what to buy and what not in terms of PC/Laptops so i will need to tell him the model and configuration

I checked one website by the name deals2buy.com and it directs us to various offers currently available on Dell machines. But if i go thru this then i need to order the laptop quite early so that it arrives at my bro's place in time.
 
Other than Black Friday and Christmas time, now could actually be a good time to look for a laptop. Lots of places will have back-to-school offers going on. (Lots of colleges are going to start their academic year soon.)
 
1. Black Friday is th famous thanksgiving weekend friday :ohyeah: Great deals everywhere. Wait for it, u ll find gr8 deals at retail stores, both Dell and other brands too :)
 
Stores open at 6 and ppl literally sleep on footpaths so that they can enter early can get whatever they want.
 
But it is not necessary that i will get the deal on the laptop that i want to buy.

So another option is that i keep track of the bargain sites like - deals2buy etc for the coupon codes and if i get any offer in my budget then order that lappy online thru Dell's website. What are your views on this ?
 
I wouldnt suggest buying things in retail stores. One will simply be paying more in taxes. But if one lives in a state where ecom transactions attract tax like in CA, it shouldnt matter.

Regarding deals, there will always be some but as said before, november might be the best time.

nothin like that. dell is now into retail proper...so most models are available at dell kiosks, normal stores everywhere :)
