Kids in my family did not know. Worse, they would not believe me when I told them what it did.

Is this carbon paper? I think I remember it being blue, and also having "kores" and some other things printed on top of it. Feels so nostalgic! It has easily been more than a decade since I last saw these.

I used to grab a couple of them whenever I got to visit my parent's office as a kid. I remember the ones with kores name in total blue & grey lettering all over.

These and typerwriters are some of my fondest memories along with the scolding we used to get for getting the color onto hands and clothes.

Fun fact, I think "CC" in e-mail originates from these.

My father was an advocate and his typist would sometimes keep his typewriter in the chamber. That was our chance to sneak in and play, there were several blue carbon papers lying around that were no use for proper print but it was good enough for us

Damn carbon paper bring back memories of my father using it to create sale receipt

Now we use software for that but it's not the same as physically writing

I still have one. My father bought it more than 70 years ago. Perfect working condition. Made in England. Any idea how much it is worth today?
I'd like to know similar as well for an electric IBM with a metal ball you change for various fonts
