of course they do, they change plans without notifications those f**king ba***rds

I came to know yesterday the Rs. 26 sms pack for 500 sms/10 days/national just lost it's national tag

now if you want national sms, you HAVE TO SPEND Rs 88 or NOTHING...

Changing to Voda, go to hell AIRTEL.

and to top it off they activate VAS without even informing. And now that they have started charging them on a daily basis (rs 1, 2) instead of deducting for the entire month (Rs 30) at once it gets very difficult to notice it unless you keep on checking your balance. I now check *121*5# once in every 2-3 days to check on it.

They are screwing customers for almost every service they offer... I am being charged for PC Secure without being ask for it... My bro has AIRTEL Cell & he gets caller tunes even when he asked them to stop...

I'm not surprised. Unhappy AirTel customer here.

Sticking to AirTel just because i can mooch their 3G with 2G plan.

I got a message yeterday, the Rs10 gprs 100MB plan was activated.

on checking I remember I had 3G and cant use 2G dataplans, and I hadn't activated it either.

Opened a site, didnt show usage, didnt show available balance left. Sent message for internet pack disabling(already inactive, dunno what the hell) and then no message..

called mom for 10 seconds, another call 30 seconds, no message on balance or last call cost.

checked balance, Rs. 8 gone... WTF WTF WTF

THat was the last straw, all my strings are gone from my brain... it's Voda time..

sms PORT 1909

Feel proud to say that I am one of those complaining customers .. :-)

I guess all the threads in this section, end up with the discussion that Airtel suc*s..

ya i had a bad experience with their post paid plan, I kept getting high bills so disconnected that number after settling all their bills but 2 months later they kept asking me to pay the bill. I was like WTF i paid it!!!! Luckily i keep all my receipts so i went and threw it in their face! and u know wat, they had NO record that i paid the bill!!! Not even in their computers or books etc!! I was like where the F will i get your receipt with stamp and signature if i did not pay it! They had no single trace of my payment!! If i hadn't kept my receipt god knows Wat would have happened.

Hmmm i'm on rs98 2GB plan. Using 3G deducts balance from that account.

It seems i'm capped at 1.5Mbps. But thats okay for Youtube and firmware downloads.

aircel is good in assam.. ^ u from assam?

it cant be capped, the first speed barrier is 3.6mbps, next 7.2mbps, next 14.4mbps

21mbps? Thats a farce, fake marketing,, we should sue these idiots

the maximum anyone I've seen has got on airtel 3G is 3.5mbps, I got 2.1mbps new delhi

For 3 weeks i didnt recharge my airtel for blackberry services. Total gain, Rs.300. :P

I am quite happy with airtel anyways...

Even if you go by the logic of complaints over subscriber base I don't think Airtel is doing too good.
Number of complaints is meaningless better to see the ratio with subscribers

3570 complaints for 155 million customers for Airtel
2100 complaints for 128 million customers for Reliance
1890 complaints for 127 million customers for Vodafone
1239 complaints for ?x? millions customers for DOCOMO
0925 complaints for ?y? millions customers for Idea

Unless someone comes up with numbers for docom & idea they will be out of this comparison.

Airtel is 22% larger than RCOM, but gets 70% more complaints
VP is little smaller than reliance but gets 10% less complaints

Vodaphone > RCOM > Airtel

Should be the result in terms of customer satisfaction

Who agrees ? Who disagrees :)

I wonder what will be the count if we take into account the complaints that don't go TRAI.
And these would be complaints going where ?

So I posted on the thread mentioning that the OP has a Conflict of Interest here,, He works for a telecom company (last I heard).

Promptly, my post gets deleted. Very nicely done moderator.

Rs. 32 gets you 2000 State wide and 1000 national SMS's free :P

^^ I am switching, just waiting for exams to get over.

Does VODAFONE still have the Rs. 49 750 sms plan???

And hows the GPRS/EDGE speeds of Voda, is there a 2GB Rs.98 monthly plan?
