man havent u got it ..whenever u go to buy a processor its manufactur date is not on the same day on which u r buying thats usuall i have the bill now is it my mistake that why processor is june 09 made ? tell me ?

Once you refund everything will be sent back to you by the buyer. If you dont have the funds come out open here. Dont try to be too smart here ! It will only lead to something bad and undesirable.
Plz get the refund done or in case you have issues with funds....you can promise to do that within a specified time limit of a few days. Plz follow that. I am sure even if the laws are not strict enough for all these
do you still want a legal complaint against you for such an amount which will only be bad for you. Just refund the buyer as you promised before and he will return your stuffs. You can then always sell it again with a slight loss
if you represent the conditions/warranty desc properly in your next sale. Just come out clean of this....that is my honest suggestion.

+1 for this ... if you have financial probs you can tell chetan about it ... and also how much time will it take you to refund the same...i don think chetan will have a problem with it ? isnt it ? ... so just ask for the time ...n refund it asap you manage to arrange the sum....he'll the n send your stuff back....the end of the story ... no use of getting into any useless quarrels...just get out of this !!Supra said:

I believe no one is there for trading on TE we are here to share/get knowledge about what's going on in our beloved world of Computing. As far as Member's market is concerned it is there to sell off extra stuff that we don't use anymore & strictly not for making money or profit.

Amarbir, its one thing to tell margin differentials to a potential customer and hope to sell at a certain price point vs. lying about warranty periods and product condition. It is absolutely not the same. You just cannot correlate the two together.

Your sense of TE is warped.
IMO chetansha, if you have valid warranty on the product, I don't think you should be too concerned with losing a few months here and there. When you buy things second hand, you get good deals but you also run a risk of getting a lemon. If you want complete piece of mind, might as well go retail with proper bill and pay full price but if you're buying from a forum such as TE, you should be ready to compromise on certain things. You are completely ignoring the seller's replacement of the defective product received by you, a replacement you accepted. Now there's a difference of 3 months from his stated DOP and the one on the bill. Big deal dude. And you are arguing on the mfg date. Do you think its a food item or bread that it would have current date? All stores carry products which are atleast a month or two old, some are even 6 months old, what should the stores do, throw them on the street because they are too old? If you were so concerned about warranty, you should have waited for the upload of the copy of the bill and then taken a decision on the replacement, why did you accept it without confirming status? Had you not taken the replacement and asked for a refund straightaway, you would have been on a firmer ground.
Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice shame on me.
Granted Bhullarboys has accepted that he would refund your money and ethically he should but I think this entire episode has been blown out of proportion because you yourself are not a very mature buyer. Piece of advice, don't blame TE and its purpose, next time go retail.
And Bhullarboys, get your stuff back, return his money, and take a lesson from next time onwards to be a very VERY choosy seller.
And to the rest of the members who are urging Bhullarboys to "clear his name", why should the onus of clearing one's name rest with the seller only? Can the buyer not have buyer's remorse? His language and his overall actions suggest that he had no intention of duping Mr. Chetansha to begin with. In fact, I think he accepted to refund under duress.

Well unless people are giving away stuff for free on TE, any sale listed in the market section makes some money to the seller. And please do note that more often than not, members manage to sell of their junk at a better price than what they would be getting in the open market because the deals are specific and need based. And the buyers benefit because they end up paying lower than the open market for even used stuff. TE marketplace basically eliminates the middleman and therefore his margins.
