Guys i have a BIG Geforce 6600 256mb AGP card and here are its results

---------------------------------------------------------

Core Clock Frequency - 300MHz :@

Memory Clock Frequency - 500MHZ(250MHz)

---------------------------------------------------------

Quake 3 benchmark (1280 x 1024) demo001 - 206.2fps

Aquamark Score - 4,910

3DMark 06 score (1280 x 1024) - 960 :S

>>SM2.0 score - 399

>>SM3.0/HDR - 335

Today i finally managed to overclock it to some extent...

---------------------------------------------------------

Core Clock Frequency - 450MHz

Memory Clock Frequency - 520MHZ

---------------------------------------------------------

Quake 3 benchmark (1280 x 1024) demo001 - 210 fps

Aquamark Score - 5870

3DMark 06 score (1280 x 1024) - 1265

>>SM2.0 score - 525

>>SM3.0/HDR - 436

---------------------------------------------------------

I could only manage to beat XFX Geforce 6600 DDR2 card :(

I also could not overclock the card more than 532MHz of memory clock and the card would refuse to do so....

Some screens...

nice ocing. Hope, you enjoy the extra frames, but be a bit carefull on the life of the card. Extreme ocing can reduce life to as little as three months.

thats a high overclock....umm be prepared for half life...not the game...but the life of ur card..

i kno i know... PJ

sometimes half a year

whoa whoaaa !! thats really high !!

Have you played anything at length ?? without artifacts ??

Hope you're cooling that GPU well !!

hmm the core is high but the memory overclock is pretty bad just 20mhz ???

i would suggest reducing the core to 400 or 420 and try increasing the memory clock more...in that way its more balanced....

as there is saying BIG sucks big time it has poor memory clock frequencies..

First i overclocked it to 320//533 MHz..n.. card refused to accept the frequency so max memory core frequency tat i cud achieve was ... only 530 MHz

My current GPU temp is : 46C

on load : 50-53C

I tried all soughts of frequencies....330/530....400/525...420/530...455/520.... but cud not get more than 532 MHz

Card has a fan to cool itself...further moooore..it doesn't have a Molex connector for separate power supply even thou it is AGP

hmm u will have to find out what ram chips those are...and i had similar porblemos while ocing my 9600 pro but then i messed around with the Vram latencies and managed a way better overclock...but if u EVER mess around with Vram latencies be prepared for loads of artifacting :) will take a while to find out what timings will suit best ... without artifacting of course
