Ok.... looks like my forced distance from my bike has made me dream up it's achievements... So, 0-60 in less than 4 secs is impossible....
Wrong buddy!!! The new 180DTSi with Exhaustec can beat the Karizma in acceleration but NOT in top speed.

The old DTSi(without alloys) is better in acceleration.

The KZ is faster from 0-40 but after that the P180 is marginally faster. Check September 2003 Issue of Overdrive. In top speed too, it is faster.

u know i am reading overdrive from the begining and i think it is little biased towards tata and bajaj ...... i can see it in the results .....

pulsar might be fast in the straight line but if talk about who is faster overall its karizma ...... hayabusa might be fastest in straight line but have u seen it in any racing .....

Ah, somebody is talking about bikes here.

I own a '03 rxz ( one with 5spd & disc up front ). The motor has been ported + running a custom digital cdi + a flat slide carb alongwith a UNI foam filter. All these mods take the bike to a true top speed of 130kmph ( shows 140 on the meter ). The speed was measured using a radar gun.

The flat slide carb gives a very clean n crisp throttle response. The digital cdi does away with the rev limiter ( the stock motor can rev upto only 8k rpms max, it manages about 9500rpms in 5th now and 10krpms in lower gears ).

All the work was done by RDDreams of B'lore. The best part is the emissions have come down to 0.1 % ( yes am running the stock catalytic converter ) after all these modifications.

Ran off the road?? Oh boy!! That would have taken more than 3 drinks to happen!!! :rofl: :rofl: :rofl:

And did you tell anybody else that you ran off the road at 50?? And someone else that it was 70 and someone else that it was 90??? :rofl:

OH WOW ! BIKES !!!!
I am a lil late at the scene.
I have a Thunderbird n a RD350HT. N I am getting a VMAX on Dec15th wooooo... (14days left)

Well I have ridden both Karizma n p180, Karizma is slighlty better, acctually its more with the rider rather dan da bike. both the bikes perform equally well.

Top speeds which i done on my bikes are
1. Thunderbird - 130Kmph (with a goldstar exhaust, K&N filter (E-0900), 120Main jet n 30 on da pilot)
Pick up is kinda sad; sometimes i feel a luna cud overtake me LOL!
But on the highway, speeds of 120 are very comforatble to hold compared to neother bike on the road.

2. RD350 - Well, its a lil monster. Pickup is insane. Top speed is even craazier, did 155kmph on it once, the bike did feel very unstable at tat speed.
Well no performance mods on dis bike xpt a K&N (RC-1120).

3. Yamaha VMAX - Hmmmm... yeeaaaaa.... Waitin 2 get my hands on it. Will post da pics n a review.
