NoobOverclocker
Novice
Hey im a really noob overclocker (hence my name) and would like some help modifying my bios. I have overclocked comps b4 usng bios configs on my old computer (amd sempron 1.3 ghz to 2 ghz on an asus a7s8x-mx). I have currently bought a new computer set. I am now using amd x2 4000+ 2.1 ghz and using a asus m2n-mx se motherboard. The mobo allows cpu voltage change but fsb and multilpier can only be made lower not higher than the default. I want to mod it so i can up the fsb and multiplier can be increased. I want to mod it so it can overclock the processor. Ive tried it b4 to modify it myself but ended up not bein able to boot so i had to recover it.
My mobo is using a pheonix award bios. Ive seen newer versions on later mobos in the m2n series which have something called SFS (Stepless frequency) under the jumper-free configuration option. Unfortunately the mobo im using now doesnt have it and when i try use bioses from a later m2n series it crashes. Basically i want to add the SFS to my bios ( i dont know how) via hex editing or any other way (maybe u can copy code from later bios?) to my bios or enable it to up fsb and multiplier some way.
It would be really gr8 if someone can mod it for me .
Ive attached my bios file below.
Thnx in advance.
