BIOSHOCK crash problem..

i hav installed retail Full version Bioshock with patch 1.1.. now whenever i try 2 play d game it crashes after 10-15 secs... what 2 do??
 
do you crash to windows or do you have to reboot - if you return to windows, then it is not a hardware problem, if you are BSODing then it might have something to do with the hardware - what is your config btw?

Best thing would be to run the game, first in lowest settings and then turn option on one by one and then catch the one that is causing the crash
 
game crashes 2 windows... .. now when i tried to acess the audio options nd d gameplay option the game crshed 2 windows...i lowered all th options in Graphics options and started d game but then also the game crashed at d beginnning... wht 2 do??? plz suggest ..

config looks ok

One of the three should work:

1. Try killing all background processes including your antivirus and then try and play the game, enable them one by one to find the one that is interfering with the game

2. Uninstall the 1.1 patch and then try to run the game

3. Go back to a previous version of the graphics drivers (Forceware 169.21 is what I am using - very stable)

4. I am assuming you are using onboard sound, so that is probably not a problem.

5. Uninstall and clean the system of Bioshock files/ registry entries, and reinstall

6. I'm out of ideas :)
 
Try updating ur directx drivers from microsoft website...this solved the problem for me when I was playing it..and the nvidia drivers too..but u allready have that..I guess..
