No... As per my knowledge you wont have any problems if you install it over steam as you don't activate the game everytime you install the game over another comp...

If it works the same way the other steam game works then you just buy the game once and every time you log into your steam account steam recognizes what all games are there in your account and then it automatically downloads the games which you have missing in your account... Also there is something known as steam backup... Which you can always use...

All in all i think steam will have no such issues like this... let me research and get back over here...

Seems like it is true and sooner then later most of the developers will start doing the same even over steam :|
 
Well.. I was planning to get the legit version of this game, now activation cap of 5 is bothering me!!

Also someone has released hacked version of this game in mininova which is actually steam rip-off of the original game & size of this is only 3.6GB. This needs no activation!! Am downloading this one, I need insurance.. cant be tied up with installation limits!!

Well I still gonna buy this game, even though I'm downloading it!!
