maxells i got are MAXELL001!!

the verbatims i got are - MCC02RG20!!

btw. just saw the list of fake media.. hmm the media ID MCC02RG20 is listed there, faker is infosmart. hmm.. so is it that the brand name would be infosmart and that one would be fake? since i got the verbs from the official distri here in mumbai, i doubt its fake...

so that's two top quality discs i got there!!

and the MB i got are FUJIFILM03!!! (that's second class media, no wonder, since the mb's discs most of have gone corrupt and unreadable even without a bloody scratch on em!) sheesh!!

btw in the first class media list. the verbatims are higher then the maxells .. so hmm they are a tad better then the maxells?? cause i have got better scans on my maxells then the verbatims.. so a bit confused!
 
guys to buy good stuff go to the moserbaer site and check out whos a distro in ur city and buy the disks from him... he`ll give u a guarantee... and its 100 percent original from them...
 
I have got MoserBaer's Sales Manager on rent in my building/aprtment!

Now,i mainly procure DVDs from him on personal basis @DP rates,but he claims that the MB disc he gets for me r manufactured in India,@factory@Pune!

But if all that r actually second rate FUJIFILM03 that r quickly all going 2 the trash,should i get/continue getting those MB stuffs & what is the ACTUAL fact abt the matter!

can sum 1 guide me here?
 
So from the list it appears that the best option available in india are the sony blanks!! Just one problem. How to know whether they are fakes or not??
 
i get these tdk tth02 dvds in chennai that cost rs210 per spindle .. very nice deal

My MB Pro's are MBI 01RG40, which is not listed on the page!! :( (There's MBI 01RG20 in the 2nd Class though.. )
The worst part..I just replenished my stock yesterday with a 50-spindle pack of MBPro's.. [:(]

ritchie street.. should be available in most shops. i picked it up in the lane by the side of krish electronics (opp the complex where delta is)
 
Don't like the way they've quantified the media in such absolute terms.
CMCMag MO1 and AE1 are excellent on burners with good FW support, but suck on burners which don't have support for them. Similarly for Yuden000-T03, compared to Yuden002 it sucks big time, but just because drive manufacturers have been lazy to implement support for it.

Similarly, the Sony media in India isn't that good at all, yet the Sony MIJ media is excellent.. they should point that out...

Decent article, but some stuff should have been explained better.

i too get excellent burns with AZ2
chking scans @ cdfreaks is the best way to judge any media imho

I just bought a 50 pack Sony DVD-R (SONY16D1) for 1100/- ; however I am getting 93% quality burn as compared to 96% from my previous stock of Mosaer Baer (FUJIFILM03) DVD-R :huh: :huh:
